Poetry

I’ve found that there is a very different muse for poetry than for fiction writing. My main focus is on fiction, but the poetry muse visits me from time to time and I am grateful for the experience.

Writing honest poetry requires a level of personal insight that can be challenging, but is always rewarding.

These are some of the free form, or non-rhyming poems, that I’ve written:
