I am a writer, photographer, reader, traveller, dreamer and a whole bunch of other things. I am also a South African expat, currently living in China, which satisfies my inner gypsy-adventurer for the time being.

Good luck with your blog Celia. You are brave but I know you will bring light to our grey days and insight when we can’t believe what our eyes see.
I only worry about one thing. I know you can probably see me through my bedroom window when I’m dressing so please promise not to include that, either in text or photo! Thanks, I know I can trust you. 🙂

Hellow howzit!
Discovered your blog through a comment you left on the post about ‘Just now’ which was Freshly Pressed’. I too am from SA and live in BJ – though I lived in the UK for many years before that and had come to China many times before we moved here.
Do you ever go to Pinotage for a meal? I wrote a review of it on my blog several weeks ago – and we buy quite a bit of wine from them.

Aangename kennis 🙂 and what a small world! We’re at Pinotage all the time, will miss it now that they’re closed for renovations. The Kanonkop is a ‘wenner’! Hope to see you there once they’re open again. I’ll be sure to read your review, did you see they’re on the short list in The Beijinger for ‘best winelist’? You can go to that site and vote for them.
